Take a closer look at the Toshiba Excite 10 LE, the thinnest, lightest 10-inch Android tablet yet.

Toshiba Excite 10 LE
Toshiba's Excite 10 LE is the thinnest, lightest 10-inch tablet yet, an achievement made more impressive by the inclusion of Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB, and microSD memory expansion.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE, camera
You get cameras on the front and back, including a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p video recording.
Thin as a pen
Just how thin is this tablet? This thin.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE, ports
In terms of hardware, Toshiba includes an impressive array of ports and capabilities considering the tablet's slender profile. On the left edge, you get a Micro-USB port for transferring media and (slowly) charging, along with a headphone output, microSD memory slot, and Micro-HDMI video output.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE, power adapter
This tablet comes with a relatively large charging adapter.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE, back
The back of the Excite is covered in a thin sheet of brushed magnesium alloy. Aside from the fact that this light, soft metal feels an awful lot like plastic, we have no problem with it.

Viewed from the top edge, the Toshiba Excite 10 LE is so thin, you practically have to squint to see it.

The Toshiba Excite 10 LE's front camera is ringed in chrome (shown here on the right edge), tricking some people in CNET's offices into thinking it's a home button.
